Eligibility

Partner Agent Requirements

To access the Cadbury product shelf, partners must meet the following baseline requirements. Not sure if you qualify? Contact Ashley directly.

Required
  • Active life & annuity license (or life only) in at least one state
  • E&O insurance in force
  • Completion of any required carrier training (FINRA, state CE)
  • Compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations
  • Agreement to Cadbury's partner agent terms
Helpful but Not Required
  • Prior FIA production experience (new-to-FIA agents welcome)
  • Series 65, 66, or 7 (for advisors adding insurance to their practice)
  • Established client book (we work with agents at all stages)
  • IMO or FMO affiliation (independent or captive both eligible)
  • Multi-state licensing

Common Questions

Is there a cost to join the Cadbury platform?
No. There is no fee to apply or to become a Cadbury partner agent. Cadbury earns through the carrier override structure — your commissions are not reduced.
How long does carrier contracting take?
Most agents complete contracting with all three carriers within 5–7 business days of application approval, depending on the carrier's contracting queue and license verification speed.
Do I need prior FIA experience?
No. Cadbury welcomes agents new to Fixed Index Annuities. Ashley provides full product training as part of the onboarding process so you can present the products with confidence from day one.
Can I be with another IMO or FMO and still join?
Yes, in most cases. Cadbury's carrier relationships are additive — many partner agents work with other organizations simultaneously. Some carriers may have exclusivity requirements depending on your current contracting; Ashley will walk you through that during onboarding.
Are there production minimums to maintain access?
No ongoing production minimums are required to maintain your Cadbury partner status. Carriers may have their own contracting activity requirements, which vary by carrier.
What states are these products available in?
EquiTrust and American Life products are available in most states. AuguStar's OrionShield FIA is available in all states except California. State availability is confirmed during the contracting process.
